A trade union leader was today shot dead by unidentified persons here following which an FIR has been filed against BJP district chief and three others.
State secretary of Indian Trade Union Congress Harendra Singh was shot at when he had gone to his field in connection with some work this morning, Additional Superintendent of Police Lal Sahab Yadav said.
Singh was rushed to a district hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, he said adding, further probe is on.
