Travel and trade fraternity of Kashmir Valley today hosted a 'grand Iftar' along the banks of the Dal Lake here.
The event on the picturesque Boulevard Road was organised by Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) in collaboration with Tourism Department
Two-kilometres long dining cloth was laid along the banks of the lake from Nehru Park to Police Golf Course. More than 3000 people, including women and children attended the event, President, TAAK, Manzoor Siddiq said.
"It was a great get-together with our friends, fellow businessmen, tourists and common people," he said.
The event aimed to send a message of peace and brotherhood prevalent in the Valley, he added.
