Trucker stuck in flash flood in Udhampur, rescued

The Jammu and Kashmir police today rescued a truck driver who got caught in a flash flood in Tawi river in Udhampur district, an official said.

Sudesh Kumar got stuck when sand was being loaded from the river into his truck in the district's Darsoo area, he said.

A police team rushed to the spot and rescued the driver, the official said.
