Tur dal will be sold at Rs 123 per kg in retail market till December 31 in Andhra Pradesh.
The spiralling prices of dals, including tur dal, have become a cause of concern for the common man.
The Dal Millers Association, Dal Wholesale Dealers Association and Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries Federation positively responded to the appeal made by AP Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha to sell the commodity at the said price, an official release said.

The minister held a meeting with the members of these associations today to decide market price of tur dal.
They have also agreed to sell tur dal at Rs 120 a kg in wholesale market, it said.
Civil Supplies commissioner G Jayalakshmi said state government seized tur dal to the extent of Rs 15 crore from hoarders.
She said from October 27 till date, about 6,000 quintals of tur dal was provided to consumers at the price Rs 140/kg.
