Two arrested for murder

Hansraj Gujjar and Hansraj Meena were arrested for killing Sohan Lal with a sharp weapon when he refused to return Rs 41,000 borrowed from Gujjar, Additional DCP (East) Yogesh said.

On August 30, the two accused had called the victim to Kanota area on the outskirts of the city on Agra road to demand the money, the DCP said.

When he refused, they murdered him with a sharp-edged weapon and buried his body in an isolated area which was uncovered yesterday, he said.

Both the accused were arrested and are being interrogated, he said.
