Two brothers killed after inhaling poisonous gas

Two brothers were killed after inhaling a poisonous gas inside a boring pit in Pisavan area here, police said today.

Bindu (45) and his brother Chotakkey (30) were installing a pumping motor in the pit yesterday when they fainted after inhaling the gas, they said.

The due was rescued by villagers and family members and rushed to hospital, but died during treatment.

Their bodies of victims have been sent for postmortem.
