Two college students were nabbed at Towlichowki area here today for allegedly possessing a banned drug, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force (West Zone) apprehended Feroz Ahmed and Mohd Ayyub Imran and seized 11 grams of Ketamine drug from their possession, they said.
Preparation, possession and consumption of Ketamine is an offence under the provisions of NDPS Act, a police release said.
The Department of Revenue of the Union Finance Ministry had issued a notification on February 10, 2011, including Ketamine in the list of psychotropic substances.
