Two constables were today detained after they allegedly demanded a bribe for buying cooler and AC from the owners of a rice mill here, police said.
The constables- Surendra Yadav and Shivlochan entered the rice mill in Lalpur Sathni area and threatened the wife and children of its owner Mohan Lal Goel and asked them to pay for a AC and cooler or face the dire consequences, they said.
After being informed, senior police officials rushed to the spot, who were shown the mischiefs of the duo as captured in the CCTV camera footage.
Both the accused were detained later, police said, adding that stern action would be taken against them.
