Two dead, 3 missing as boat sinks in swollen Ganga

Two persons, including a woman, drowned while three others went missing when a country-made boat capsized in swollen Ganga in Bihar's Katihar district today, police said.

At least 12 persons were on board the boat that sank near Seemapur Tapu under Barari police station.

Two bodies were fished out while search is on for the three others. Rest of the passengers swam to safety.
