Two died in a well

well at Kualo in Dhenkanal district today, police said.

Banchanidhi Biswal (40) entered the well to retrieve a pot fallen inside. When he did not return, another villager Kumar Dehury (61) scaled down into it to rescue Banchhanidhi.

As both did not return, villagers informed fire brigade which rescued both of them in a critical condition. They were rushed to the local community health centre where doctors declared them brought dead.
