Two held with charas at Mumbai airport

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) nabbed two persons with 1.8 kg charas from the city airport, an official said today.

The seized cannabis was sourced from Himachal Pradesh and was brought to the city via Delhi through air route.

The banned drugs were seized by the NCB sleuths on March 3, he said, adding that the seized contraband was meant for further distribution and consumption in Mumbai.

Further investigation is underway, he said.
