Two killed, three injured in multiple collision

Two persons, including an engineering student, were killed and three others injured in a multiple collision in the district today, police said.

Two state run corporation buses were speeding against each other and the Salem-Tiruchirapalli bus dashed against a load tempo and a motorbike at Moopampatty.

The deceased included a 22-year-old private engineering college student from Tiruchirapalli and a tempo driver, they said.

Three others injuired in the accident were admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
