Two youths held for snatching gold chain from woman

Two youths were arrested here today on charges of snatching a gold chain weighing three sovereigns from a woman, police said.

The youths riding a motorcycle snatched the chain from the woman's neck as she walking along the road. The woman raised an alarm and passers-by gave chase.

The youths hit a speed-breaker and fell down, sustaining fractures, police said.

They were arrested and undergoing treatment at the government hospital here.
