Mukyamantri Adarsh Gram Yojana will be launched in Uttarakhand for the all-round development of villages in the state, Chief Minister Harish Rawat today said.
He made the announcement while chairing a meeting to review World Bank and externally-aided development projects in the state.
Rawat said the object of the scheme was to bring remote villages of the hill state to the mainstream development.
Remote villages will be identified under the scheme from each development block of a district and developed into livelihood villages, an official release quoting Rawat here said.
