Ukrainian man held in Goa for staying with expired visa

The Goa police Saturday arrested a Ukrainian national for staying in the state after the expiry of his tourist visa.

Sindieiev Oleksandr was arrested at Margao Railway Station.

A senior police official said his visa had expired in January this year.

A case was filed against him under the Foreigners Act for illegally staying in the state, the officer said.
