An unclaimed bag found lying around in Lodhi Garden sparked an alarm today at the time when Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra had gone there for jogging.

Vadra's security staff, who belong to the Special Protection Group (SPG), notified the police of the matter and it was later found that the bag had been left behind by a taxi driver and contained his personal articles.

Upon receiving the call from Vadra's security, Delhi Police Assistant Sub Inspector Surender Singh rushed to the spot and took charge of the situation, much to the relief of those present in the park.

The bag belonged to a taxi driver who had left it behind in an inebriated condition. It contained a mobile phone, a pass-book and some other documents.

When contacted, police sources said that the belongings have been handed over to the said driver.
