An unidentified person was killed and five others, including three children, were injured when an under-construction building in the Avtar Nagar area collapsed this evening.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) RPS Sandhu said that the roof of the under construction building caved in here killing one person who was working there.
The deceased has not been identified as yet, he said.
The debris of the collapsed building also fell on a neighbouring house injuring five people, including three children who were playing there, he said.
While police have said nothing about if anybody is still missing, Purvanchal Mahasbha's leader A K Mishra claimed that two persons are missing.
"I and father of one of the missing workers met with ACP here and demanded to search for them. Both of them belong to Muzaffarpur of Bihar and are cousins," he said.
Police are still clearing the debris and further investigation is on.
