Undertrial escaped from police custody

An undertrial prisoner today managed to escape with the help of four accomplices in Rajasthan's Nagaur district, a police official said.

The accused, facing trail in a case related with NDPSwas being taken to Jodhpur from Nagaur for a hearing when four persons, including one woman, possibly his wife, pushed the policemen before they could board a bus and took him in a car, Nagaur Superintendent of Police Laxman Gaur said.

A case has been registered in this regard and efforts are on to locate them, the SP said.
