The Shiv Sena has for the first time managed to win a seat in Uttar Pradesh civic polls.
Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray, in a tweet, said party candidate Dipesh Yadav won from Ward number 40 in Allahabad.
"Thanks to all the voters. We will work and win hearts. We said we would do it. We have done it. This is just the beginning," Aaditya tweeted.
