UP govt devoted to development: Shivpal Yadav

Uttar Pradesh minister Shivpal Yadav today said that the state government is neither "double- mouthed" nor makes "airy declarations" but is devoted to development.

"There is no difference between the utterances of the Samajwadi Party government and its doings. It is devoted to development work," the Public Works Department minister said in Narauli village of Gauriganj block here.

The minister, accompanied by Gauriganj MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh, was here to attend a private function.

He also announced construction of two roads-- Pure Shivdas-Guwawan (1.5 km) and another 2-km road in the village, and asked the officials concerned to begin work.
