UP Panchayat polls: 400 cartons of liquor seized in Shamli
As part of the special drive during the ongoing panchayat polls, police have arrested two persons for allegedly smuggling 400 cartons of liquor worth Rs 18 lakh in Shamli.
A truck carrying 400 cartons of liquor was yesterday stopped on Yamuna bridge in Shamli. Two persons were arrested in this connection, SP Vijay Bhushan said.
