UP roadways bus conductor robbed of Rs 22,000

An Uttar Pradesh roadways bus conductor has been allegedly robbed by two armed motorcycle-borne persons in Etah district, police said.

Santosh was going to his home after getting his bus parked at the Buddh Vihar depot late on Saturday night. The incident took place in Shanti Nagar area, where Rs 22,000, ticket-vending machines and mobile phones were looted by the two miscreants, a police official said.

A case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the culprits, Kotwali police station inspector Pankaj Mishra said.
