Grappling with the problem of polluted drinking water, villagers of Mubarikpur have threatened to boycott the UP assembly polls next year.
A panchayat was held in the house of the Gram Pradhan during which it was decided to boycott if the problem is not solved, according to villagers who attended the meeting.
Villagers have earlier raised the issue with different public representatives but to no avail.
