Upendra Prasad Singh appointed as Clean Ganga Mission DG

The government has appointed senior IAS officer Upendra Prasad Singh as the director general (DG) of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), besides making three more appointments.
The Water Resources Ministry said in a statement that Rozy Agarwal has been appointed as executive director (finance). Rajiv Kishore and CV Dharma Rao have been appointed as executive director (administration) and executive director/DDG, respectively.
The NMCG, which has been executing the Centre's ambitious Namami Gange programme, was elevated to the level of an 'authority' from a society in September this year.
