Weather remained mainly dry in in Bihar with Gaya being the hottest place at 41.6 degree celsius, which is one degree above normal.
Patna registered 39 degree celsius against yesterday's 40.4 degree celsius, met office bulletin said.
The temperature was two notches above its normal maximum temperature, it said.

Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 38.6 and 33.3 degree celsius respectively, the bulletin said.
The met office bulletin has forecast partly cloudy sky for Patna, Gaya and Purnea tomorrow while Bhagalpur is expected to witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershower.
