A widow was allegedly forcibly taken away from her house in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district and gangraped, police said today.
Police said three men had sneaked into her house at Sanamohuladiha village after disconnecting the power supply. They then forcibly took away the widow to a cowshed where she was allegedly gangraped.
Her family members, who had launched a search, found her along with the accused men. One of them was caught by the family members but the other two managed to escape.

The villagers later nabbed all the three, tied them to a tree and beat them up.
Police later rescued the three, who are residents of a neighbouring village, and took them to the police station, where they were arrested.
