Woman beaten up

A 36-year-old woman was beaten up

and her face blackened with ink by the family members and relatives of a 21-year-old Delhi University student, who had alleged that the woman tried to force her into flesh trade.

No FIR has, however, been registered till late tonight, police said.

The women claimed that the allegations levelled against her were "baseless".

Police said the girl's claims are being verified. No evidence of the woman's role in trying to push the girl into flesh trade or her running a sex racket has been found yet, police added.
