Woman commits suicide after killing children in UP

A 25-year-old woman today allegedly committed suicide after killing her two children in Bardh village here.

Sundari threw her two-and-a-half years old daughter Ananya and son Anmol, 5, in a well before hanging herself, police said.

"The children drowned," a police official said.

Police is yet to ascertain the reason behind the woman's extreme step.

"Investigations are underway," the official said.
