Woman delivers baby on board flight

A 37-year-old woman delivered a baby on board a city-bound Kuwait Airlines flight from the Gulf country today.

The passenger Radha Subramani, native of Andhra Pradesh, was returning home from a Gulf country.

Her spouse and brother, residents of Chennai, turned up at the airport to take her home.

Officials said the baby and mother were fine and taken to a private hospital for post-natal care.
