Woman dies in wall collapse, husband injured

A woman was killed and her husband injured when a wall of their thatched house collapsed in a village under Haspura police station area in Bihar's Aurangabad district in wee hours today, a police officer said.

The incident took place in Dilawarpur village as the wall of a house collapsed trapping a couple under its rubble while they were asleep, deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Md. Javed Anwar said.

While a 60 year-old Bhagwatia Devi died on the spot, her husband Kameshwar Yadav (65) sustained injuries, he said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem and the injured admitted to Sadar hospital for treatment.
