A 25-year-old woman ayurvedic doctor allegedly committed suicide by hanging at her residence here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday evening when the doctor took the extreme step by hanging from the ceiling of her fan, they said.
She was married to an ayurvedic doctor for a year. Her husband was in Kerala when the incident happened. No suicide note has been recoeverd and the cause has not been ascertained yet, they said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, they said.
