A woman today drowned in the sea here
while her three friends were rescued, officials said.
The woman had come from Chennai along with her three friends for taking part in a temple festival.
While they were bathing in the sea, they were swept away by the waves.
Officials said while the woman drowned, the other three were rescued by fishermen.
