A 40-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a running train along with her two children in the wee hours today, railway police said.
V Nagmani, wife of a railway employee residing in the railway quarters here, ended her life along with her two sons - Mohan Krishna (11) and V Tirumala Rao (9) - by jumping in front of a speeding train between Marripalem and NAD Junction on the city outskirts.
Family dispute was suspected to be the reason behind taking her extreme step, police said.
The mutilated bodies of the woman and her children were removed from the railway tracks and sent for postmortem, police said, adding that further investigation in the case was on.
