Woman gangraped by six persons in Muzaffarngar

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by six men in Kadli village here, police said today.

The victim was returning to the village with her brother-in-law yesterday when six persons intercepted them. They looted Rs 35000 from her brother-in-law and raped her in a nearby sugarcane field, they said.

A case has been registered against six unidentified persons and the victim has been sent for medical examination, said police.
