Woman killed by brother-in-law

A 26-year-old woman was allegedly hacked to death by her brother-in-law in Aaspur Hasanpur Ali village here today.

The victim Seema, reportedly had a dispute with her brother-in-law Mahendra Singh, following which he hit her with an iron rod, ASP Brijesh Srivastava said.

Seema died on the spot, he said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.

Efforts were on to nab the absconding accused, police added.
