A woman was mowed down and eight others were injured in a group clash in Phulera town of the district.
"The dispute was between two families about a passage from a piece of land in Rojadi village which led to a clash leaving a woman dead and eight others injured," Additional Superintendent of Police (Dudu) Kalyanmal said.
He said that some of the members of one side mowed down the woman, Kanwari Devi, aged round 55 years, by a vehicle.
The injured have been admitted to SMS hospital in Jaipur, he said.
"Additional policemen have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order," he said, adding, that two persons have been detained in the connection.
