Woman raped by father-in-law in Ghaziabad

A woman was allegedly raped several times by her father-in-law over the last two years in Dabur Talab colony, police said today.

The victim in her complaint said her husband is lodged in a jail for the last two years and her father-in-law, Irshad, raped her several times during this period, SHO of Loni Kotwali Avdhesh Pratap Singh said.

She also alleged that the accused threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter to police.

An FIR has been registered in the matter and accused arrested and sent to jail, he said.
