Woman sets self, children afire

A woman allegedly set herself on fire along with her three children apparently over a family dispute in Lalganj area, police said here today.

The victim, Indrawati (32) locked herself in a room along with children Satyam (7), Ankita (5), Anamika (4) and set themselves on fire in Haraiyan village last evening, they said.

Police said that family dispute and poverty were said to be the reason behind the incident, adding, their bodies have been sent for postmortem.
