Woman shot dead during fight between 2 families

A 50-year-old woman was shot dead and three persons were injured when two rival groups opened fire at each other here, police said today.

The incident took place in Samaipur Badli last evening and the deceased has been identified as Ramwati.

The injured, including two women, are neighbours.

It took place during a fight between two families.

No one was arrested in the case.
