Women outnumber men voters in TN

Women voters outnumber men as per the draft electoral rolls of the Special Summary Revision, 2018, published today.

Of the total 5.95 crore-odd electorate, three crore were women voters while men constituted 2.95 crore voters.

There were 5242 members from the Third Gender, the election commission said in a release.

Shozhinganallur constituency in Kancheepuram district topped the assembly segments with a maximum of 6.24 lakh voters while Kilvelur in Nagapattinam district had the lowest electorate in the state with 1.68 lakh electors, it said.
