A ministerial committee of Rajasthan government today assured a Gujjar delegation that it was working to execute decisions taken in previous meetings relating to the issues of the community.
In a meeting with a delegation of Gujjar, Social Justice Minister Arun Chaturvedi said the government was working on the issues of the Gujjars and the decisions taken in the meeting held in January this year are being implemented properly.
The issue of withdrawing cases lodged against the community people during the Gujjar agitations in the past would be taken up in a meeting scheduled in the first week of June, Chaturvedi said.
Food and civil supply minister Hem Singh Bhadana said matters related to departments of Education, Home, Medical and Health, among others, were taken up in today's meeting.
