Yes Bank to lend to small businesses based on GST returns

Mid-size private sector lender Yes Bank today said it will be lending to small businesses against their GST returns.

It has launched a GST returns-based overdraft facility through which businesses can borrow up to Rs 1 crore, it said in a statement.

The overdraft will be given based purely on the borrower's annual turnover and GST returns, it added.

****************** Volkswagen to conduct pan-India roadshows for Ameo *

German luxury car maker Volkswagen today said it will conduct pan-India roadshows for its subcompact sedan Ameo, starting tomorrow.

Ameo will travel a distance of over 30,000 kms, covering over 250 cities over a period of four months, the company said in a release.

 

On-the-spot bookings and flexible financial service options will be available for the distinctive car buyers over the four-month period, which will also offer the prospective customers an opportunity to test drive the vehicle, it added.

****************** CASE India delivers 5,000th vibratory tandem compactor *

Construction equipment maker CASE India today said it has delivered the 5,000th vibratory tandem compactor in the domestic market, produced at its Pithampur manufacturing facility near Indore.

CASE Construction Equipment, a part of New York Stock Exchange-listed CNH Industrial NV, is the market leader in the compactor segment in India.

The key of the 5,000th compactor was handed over to Suhan Shetty of Uday Shetty group of companies by Ajay Aneja, national sales and exports head of CASE India, the company said in a release.
