Youth arrested for kidnapping teenage girl

Police today found a 14-year-old girl who went missing after being kidnapped by a youth, following which the accused was arrested in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on a tip off, police raided a house in Rajdhani belt of the district today and recovered the teenager and arrested her kidnapper, identified as Yasir Alim.

A case of kidnapping against Alim was registered on the complaint of girl's father Maqbool Husain yesterday and investigation in this connection has been started, police said.

The girl was handed over to the parents after her medical examinatiobn, they added.
