A 22-year-old youth has been booked for allegedly sodomising a minor in Matawli village here, police said today.
A case has been registered against the accused, Chotu, under section 377 of the IPC for sodomising a 4-year-old boy at his house yesterday, SHO Naresh Chouhan said.
The accused is absconding, he said.
According to a compliant filed by the victim's father, the child had gone to play yesterday evening but did not return home.
Later, the minor was found unconscious at Chotu's house after which he was rushed to hospital, where he revealed the entire matter to his family.
Efforts are on to nab the accused, the SHO added.
