An unidentified man, aged around 32 years, was crushed to death by a speeding truck on bye-pass road near Rahul Vihar, said police today.
Upon receiving information by passersby, the police reached the accident site and rushed the profusely bleeding man to government hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, SHO Vijay Nagar Surendra Yadav said.
The man's identity is yet to be established, he said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and an FIR has been registered against unknown driver of the speeding truck, police said.
Police is investigating the case and search is on for the absconding driver, the SHO added.
