Youth shot dead, another commits suicide in UP

A 27-year-old man was allegedly shot dead outside his house at Maharaipur village in the district, police said today.

Natrapal was shot dead by a youth outside his house at Maharaipur village under Chapar police station area in the district last evening, they said.

The victim succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, police said.

A case has been registered in the incident, they said.

In another case, a 24-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at Abkari road yesterday.

The victim Rahul took the extreme step due to a family dispute, police added.
