China will temporarily exempt foreign firms from provisional income tax for reinvested profit

BEIJING (Reuters) - China's finance ministry said on Thursday profits reinvestment by foreign firms in China will temporarily be exempted from provisional income tax.

The ministry said on its website that the move is designed to encourage overseas investors to boost investment in the country.
