NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's fiscal deficit narrowed to 3.69 trillion rupees ($56.3 billion) during April-August, or 66.5 percent of the full-year target, government data showed on Wednesday.
The deficit was at 74.9 during the same period a year ago.
Net tax receipts were at 2.99 trillion rupees in the first five months of the fiscal year that ends in March 2016.
