Jaitley proposes increasing service tax, education cess

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has proposed increasing the service tax rate and education cess to 14 percent from the current 12.36 percent, when presenting the government's full-year budget on Saturday.
