A-Category Net Services By Excel

Delhi-based Excel Infotech Ltd will soon offer its category A Internet services in six Indian cities. The company has already obtained the `Category A' Internet service provider the licence .
The new ISP services, Swiftxs.com, will be available in all the six cities by the end of September.
According to the company's plans, it will offer both narrowband and broadband services across the country along with various other value-added features.

According to Atul Bhargava, vice-president, ISP & Portals, Excel Infotech Ltd: "Excel's services will offer a wide range of access options to the consumer for accessing the net like dialup/leased/ISDN/Web TV/Cable TV, mobile phone and wireless internet access." However, the pricing strategy of the ISP has not been revealed yet.
Excel's ISP infrastructure is being built up with a view to provide e-commerce services and net telephony some time in the future. Excel will also launch a horizontal portal with community building features simultaneously with its ISP service. "Our ISP infrastructure will provide the right platform to support various e-commerce applications from the beginig and once voice opver IP is permitted, out network will be able to support it too," he added.
The company will also have a wide range of alliances for its various value added services.
To popularise the ISP services, the company will deploy an Internet Phone and Internet Kiosks for individuals who are not familiar with computer as well as English.
According to Bhargava "this device will have single touch access to various Internet facilities like sending and receiving e-mails which currently is a confusing process for individuals who are not so familiar with computer operations. This will make Internet accessible to a vast majority of Indian population."
Excel Infotech Ltd is an IT company promoted by the Delhi-based Amtek Auto group.
